http://ffanzeen.blogspot.co.uk/2011/04/amy-rigbys-dancing-with-joey-ramone.html
A good website which not only has the video for the song, but also looks into the song lyrics and picks out some amazing songs which much have had some impact on her as she has used them within the song Dancing with Joey Ramone.
Not only that this also shows, who Amy Rigby was, she may have been a singer songwriter who sounded like her roots where in folk, but her lyrics and past show her to be a more of a punk and bit more hard hitting than your common folk singer songwriters, an anti-folk hero.

Inspiration
I think for this brief i have recieved alot of inspiration from designers, and also illustrators who have worked on zombie comics or movies, especially as i have followed alot of the movies and comics.
Here is a few example of what has inspired my work through what i have watched and read:

Monster movie and sub genres
http://thescriptlab.com/screenplay/genre/horror
Here I have found an interesting article on horror which discusses it's sub genres.
Saying that Monster movies are usually a sub genre to horror, this backs up some of the work me and Ben have been discussing.
We have been interested in how a lot of the monster movies do have cross overs with other genres especially horror and sci fi

King Kong (8/10) Movie CLIP - Climbing the Empire State Building (2005) HD
This is a clip from the 2005 remake of King Kong.
This clip starts with a very exciting zoom out and pan right to an extreme wide angle, this sets the scene and creates great interest.
The angles after this are just simple close ups, which are because of the dialogue.
Godzilla 1998 chase scene
This is a famous chase scene from the 1998 film Godzilla this is a remake of the original Japanese movie made in 1954.
This is a perfect example of a monster movie as it the protagonists have to defend themselves from the very destructive beast that is Godzilla.
The wide shot is used in this clip, i think to show not only the setting but also the destruction of Godzilla, the clip also shows the use of low and high angles to give the audience the impression of being small and to also show the vulnerability of some of the characters.
This scene also shows very fast cuts, I think as this is a chase scene this is to show the terror and panic of the characters and to keep the chase scene interesting and moving, as it would not be as interesting with a single panning shot.

Images and ideas for the 1930's
The invention of superman and batman in the 1930's in a popular magazine called Action comics.
The Great depression, had a massive effect also on culture and fashion
I also plan to look into books like The Great Gatsby which is set in the late 20's and then goes through to the prohibition of the early 30's. This influenced a lot of fashion especially amongst bootleggers, who became millionaires
